The pedal gear comprises two rotationally locked crank supports (5) eccentrically positioned on the rotational axis of a driving cog (2). Rotational movement of the two cranks (12) carrying the pedals (15) is transmitted to the driving cog rotational axis by two lugs (18) fixed on the cranks and displacing in runners (21) connected to the driving part rotational axis. An Independent claim is included for a cycle fitted with the pedal gear.
