The cylindrical padlock comprises a hollow cylindrical steel body (1) and a cylindrical cap (2) having a metallic locking pin (5) introduced in a fastening device (12) integrating a lock accessible through a hole (14) of a round flat part (13). Chain links are introduced through semi-elliptical openings (3) in the cap. There is a horizontal metallic locking rod (6) on the locking pin and a dissymmetrical groove (7) on its perimeter. During fastening a metallic tab (11) dependent on the fastening system is housed in the groove.
