The electronic supply uses a DC to AC inverter to produce a high frequency electrical signal at the primary winding of a transformer (N1) which produces a high voltage to drive piezoelectric actuators (IJ) through selector switches (K1,K2,R3,R4). The inverter is a resonant converter using two high frequency power switches (P1,P3) and a capacitor (Cd) in series with the transformer primary.
