The assembly has a spoiler (6) moving between a retracted rest and advanced activated position. A reinforced frame (7) supports the spoiler and has components (10,11) extending transversely in a spoiler direction between the positions. A guide (14) imposes a horizontal path (l1), downward path and then a horizontal path (l2) on the components. An actuator is integrated to the vehicle at one end and the frame at another end. An Independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
