The sill has an upward face (22) visible from an outside of an automobile vehicle and an inner face (24) hidden in a normal position of the use of the sill. The inner face (24) has a holding unit (36) for holding objects e.g. clothes, bread, journals arranged on a part of the inner face or near it. The holding unit has a curtain and/or a net extending on a part of a surface of the inner face to cover the objects. An Independent claim is also included for an automobile vehicle.
