The system has two optical line generators (3,4) having an axis of line (5,6) each, placed in a glance. A optical line generators has a divergent optical system generating line of width and uniform intensity at exist, starting from a pencil of light (1) incidental with its entry. The line generators cooperate with each other to form a luminous surface (2), continuous and homogenous in intensity at exit from the pencil of light. An Independent claim is also included for a microscope including a system of illumination.
