The cover (2), a coated or laminated textile is anchored in a zone (ZF) near the sea bottom (4) by weights (3) tied to it. A series of connected modules (5) in a similar textile, form a vertical cylindrical zone (ZC) about an axis (Z' Z) between a zone (ZS) near the surface (14) and the cover, to which they are connected. A further textile module (6) connects to the surface. This it weighted down, and supported by a float (7). Internal and external pressures are equalized over the zone ZC. In this region there is at least one coating resisting adhesion. Each module has a metal hoop (12) around the outside, to stiffen it radially. The cover is centrally-symmetrical. Anchors (8) and weights (3) hold the equipment on the sea bed.
