The boat (1) has ballast weights (3.1, 3.2) located on both sides of a centerboard (2) and moved in upward and downward directions independent of movement of the centerboard. The ballast weights are held in predetermined distance from the boat using flexibly arranged attaching units (11.1, 11.3), where the ballast weights are made of axial-displaceable weight part. Forces laterally act on the centerboard, and are received by the centerboard during heeling the boot, where the forces exist below one of the ballast weights.
