The thermometer has an electronic processing unit that is connected with a temperature transducer (20) of a temperature sensor (3) for converting signals received by the transducer into temperature values of a human body. The sensor has two heating units (15, 16) to heat a skin surface (9) and to preheat the transducer, respectively during the measurement. An independent claim is also included for a method of fabricating a temperature sensor of an electronic thermometer.
