Device for shaping pieces of dough includes two rollers (6; upstream and fixed) and (7; downstream and spaced apart from (6)), for forming rounds of dough, where (6) rotates at a circumferential speed greater than that of (7). Device for shaping pieces of dough comprises: (1) a conveyor (1) for moving pieces of dough forward; (2) a flat element (5) for rolling the dough, of cloth, fabric or grid type, applied uniformly against (1), except at its upstream end (with respect to the direction of advancement), and which is spaced from (1) to form an entry constriction (4) for the dough, between (5) and (1), where the entry has an elongated shape aligned transverse to (1), and the upstream end of (5) is fixed so that (5) is not carried forward by (1); and (3) a set of two flattening rollers, (6; upstream and fixed) and (7; downstream and spaced apart from (6)), for forming rounds of dough, where, the new feature, (6) rotates at a circumferential speed greater than that of (7).
