The wheel is installed in a suspended fashion at an end of the shaft of the turbine rotor. The electric rotor is mounted in a suspended fashion at another end of the shaft. The shaft is mounted in shaft bearings housed in a bearing casing thermally separating the shaft bearings with respect to the motor.
