The shoe has a body divided into two parts (1,2) longitudinally sliding one on top of another to increase a supporting surface. Clamps (4) are mounted on a pivot to fixing in snow. A hollow (14) is situated on the body and is obstructed by a cover (6) during the passage of the shoe from one state to another. Abutments are placed on the cover to open the hollow during the changing of the shoe into slide.
