The method involves detecting changing of a normal load condition of an application. A configuration file is modified according to the normal load condition of the application. A request for a new configuration file is sent to a server. The new configuration file is loaded on the server according to a new condition of detected normal load and the server is activated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for optimization of a performance of an application implemented by a server (2) a computer program product comprising instructions for optimization of a performance of an application implemented by a server.
