Breast-feeding garments with accessible openings at chest level that allows the wearer to breast-feed her baby while minimising the amount of flesh that is exposed. The openings may be in the form of flaps on either side of the chest area that are held in place when not in use by releasable fasteners such as zips, Velcro (RTM) or press-studs. Alternatively the chest area of the garments may have a number of accessible flaps at varying heights (12-17, Fig 6) to allow access to the wearer's breast that may change in size after the birth of a baby. The openings may be incorporated into evening wear, casual wear, exercise wear or swimwear. The garments are preferably cut slightly looser than usual around the abdominal area and made of easy clean materials preferably cotton or silk.
