METHOD OF GIVING ADDED VALUE TO WOOD OR BAMBOO, AND ITS WOOD OR BAMBOO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an added value by evaporating moisture while leaving leaves on cut-down wood or bamboo as they are to use a water absorbing power the wood or bamboo intrinsically has to refill moisture.;SOLUTION: The value of the wood or bamboo is enhanced by supplying a value-adding solution to a vessel and a pseudo-vessel on the whole cut surface of a cut-down wood or bamboo using a capillary phenomenon. A water-absorbing and water-retaining material 2 is plastered on the cut surface 1 of the wood or bamboo 8, and the water-proof sheet 5 to which an absorbing material 4-contacting hose 3 is attached is fixed with a rope 9. In this case the absorbing material 4 passed within the hose 3 is arranged on the absorbing and water-retaining material 2 plastered on the cut surface 1 so that the absorbing material 4 contacts the highest position of the cut surface 1.
