PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic sintered alloy having superior surface denseness and accuracy of dimension, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.;SOLUTION: The soft magnetic sintered alloy includes 0.01 to 1 mass% higher P, by average concentration, in the surface layer which has a region of 1 μm to 2 mm deep from the surface than a P concentration in the inner part; and includes 0.01 to 1 mass% K and/or Na, by average concentration, in the surface layer. The manufacturing method comprises: forming a film of a potassium phosphate salt and/or a sodium phosphate salt on the inner surface of a cavity of a molding die, as a lubricant; filling the cavity with a soft magnetic powder; pressing it; and then sintering it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
