PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the consumption of resource in a database of table constitution wherein output items have the same contents in the case of acquiring information.;SOLUTION: In this database system for outputting information stored in the database 25, corresponding to inputted retrieval conditions, input condition items for information retrieval in the database 25 are of bit type, and a means DA24 is provided for converting the input condition inputted for retrieval, into a bit value and regarding the condition as established if the logical product of this bit value and a bit value of the input condition item in the database 25 is the same as the bit value of inputted input condition. The DA 24 converts the input condition inputted for retrieval, into the bit value and generates a conditional expression for regarding the condition as established if the logical product of this bit value and the bit value of the input condition item concerned in the database is the same as the bit value of the inputted input condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
