METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING INTERACTION AMONG DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS VIA DATA DISPLAYED ON SCREEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application interaction technique that allows exchange of data among many-to-many applications, with the formats of the data matched with each other through data conversion.;SOLUTION: The information items needed to operate at least one second application are collected from a window being displayed by at least one first application. If some of the information items collected do not match the data format of the second application, data conversion of those information items that do not match the data format of the second application is carried out so that they match the data format. The information items that match the data format and the information items that have gone through the data conversion are sent to the second application that requires them. Processing results sent from the second application are received, and if some of the processing results do not match a predetermined format, data conversion of the processing results that do not match the predetermined format is carried out so that they match the predetermined format. The processing results that match the predetermined format and the processing results that have gone through the data conversion are outputted to predetermined positions on the window with predetermined data attributes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
