PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing bucket support device and a swing bucket suitable for a centrifugal separator with short starting and braking time.;SOLUTION: The swing bucket support device is provided with an annular drum formed by a thin member having a smaller outer diameter than an inner diameter of a cylinder part constituting a rotor of the centrifugal separator and slightly shorter length than length in an axial direction of the rotor; swing arms projected from an inner wall surface of the annular drum toward a center of the annular drum in a triangular prism shape and arranged on the inner wall surface of the annular drum with an approximately equal angle gap; a plurality of grooves formed between the mutually adjacent members of the swing arms and slightly wider width than width of the swing bucket to be supported; and a circular space formed at the inner side of an arc tightening respective projection ends of the swing arms projected toward a center of the annular drum of the swing arm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
