SCREENING METHOD OF REMEDY COMPONENT OF METABOLIC SYNDROME, AND DIAGNOSTIC METHOD OF METABOLIC SYNDROME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method of a component material of a metabolic syndrome remedy, and a method for diagnosing the metabolic syndrome.;SOLUTION: This screening method of the remedy component of the metabolic syndrome is characterized by adding a test material to a system capable of detecting formation of a KLF5-PRARγ complex by a signal of reporter molecules, and specifying an activity adjusting material of the KLF5-PRARγ complex by using the signal quantity of the reporter molecules as an index. This diagnostic method of the metabolic syndrome is characterized by measuring the KLF5 manifestation quantity in a fat tissue isolated from a subject.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
