PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microfluidic chip for high-throughput screening or high-throughput assay capable of injecting reagents different each other into respective wells. PSOLUTION: This microfluidic chip for the high-throughput screening or the high-throughput assay concerned in the first feature of the present invention includes the plurality of wells arrayed one- or two-dimensionally to isolate samples, a sample isolation means positioned in an upper end part of each of the wells and movable vertically, an opening and closing means positioned in an upper end part of the sample isolation means to move the sample isolation means, an inlet for injecting the sample and an outlet for discharging an excessive of the injected sample, and a reagent injection passage for injecting the reagent into the each well and a reagent discharge passage for discharging the reagent.
