PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design-assist method for an uneven leg which enables a beginner to easily and adequately select a member which is employed as the uneven leg without using sophisticated system.;SOLUTION: A computer storing information and a list sheet about the member to be employed as the uneven leg carries out the steps of displaying a schematic diagram of the leg and an explanatory diagram of arrangement of members about the uneven leg, obtaining basic specification information about the uneven leg, obtaining individually specified information for each of the types in accordance with arrangement positions of used members of the uneven leg, calculating stress applied to each member belonging to each of the types based on member information and the basic specification information when obtaining specification information of members of a type, presenting the calculation result per each member belonging to this type, and displaying manual information on explanation about the basic specification information and the specification information of the members, inputting method of the information, or the like as information to be corresponded to a column when the predetermined column in a list is indicated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
