PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a compact cermet film without being decomposed at a low temperature on a substrate surface, while preventing a cermet from being decomposed during forming the film with the use of a high velocity flame spraying method with a gas shroud.;SOLUTION: In a cermet-spraying method using HVOF with the gas shroud, this cermet-spraying method includes thermal-spraying metallic particles heated to a softening temperature of a metallic component of a film-forming material, onto a substrate surface at a spray rate of 700 m/s or higher.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
