PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning refrigerator having measures against failure of a refrigerating machine for refrigeration or freezing and to provide a method for controlling the air conditioning refrigerator.;SOLUTION: When this air conditioning refrigerator 1 causes failure of a refrigerating system (a compressor 37) or a freezing system (a compressor 54) when cooling or heating, refrigerant coming out of evaporators 43, 49 is made to flow into a cascade heat exchanger 21 without passing through the compressor 37 or the compressor 54 which went to failure to cool it excessively, and indoor 2 set temperature of an air conditioner 6 is changed to a set temperature in failure which gives priority to refrigeration and freezing. Control is changed to change outlet temperature TC2 on a case side passage 21B of the cascade heat exchanger 21 to an outlet temperature in failure. Refrigerant (refrigerant for cooling) on a cooling device (a cooling system part) 8 side is cooled to a temperature which gives priority to freezing/refrigeration in a freezing case 4 and a refrigerating case 3 by refrigerant (refrigerant for air conditioning) on an air conditioner 6 side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
