PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further ensure the decoding of a received time code signal at the time of acquiring time information from a time code signal X composed of a plurality of time frames Y1-Y3 having a fixed period T, and amplitude-modified and received and, particularly, to reduce the error frequency in decoding in case that error is caused in second pulses by an obstruction signal. PSOLUTION: The received time code signals are sampled, the sampling values of the sampled time code signals are stored, and the amplitude change of the time code signals is detected on the basis of the stored sampling values. The period of the detected change is measured, and when the measured period is shorter than a predetermined period, the detected change is not taken into consideration at the time of decoding.
