PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load testing machine of a structure, capable of grasping the dynamic characteristics of the actual size structure of a building/civil-engineering structure, even if a jack drive device which does not have relatively large loading force is used, and to provide a load testing method which uses it.;SOLUTION: The connection parts of the tip part 11b of the first constitution levers 113, constituting a toggle mechanism part 11 with its base parts 11d of the second constitution levers 114 and a jack part 121, are bridged so as to be in an almost V-shape by connection levers 122. Then, the toggle load is applied to the structure with the ratio for the moving distance L2 of a rod 12a and the moving quantity L1 of a floor panel W, corresponding to the moving distance L2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
