PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave filter providing a small maximum insertion loss of a pass band and a wide pass bandwidth in the filter characteristics.;SOLUTION: A surface acoustic wave filter element provided with a pair of opposed interdigital electrode sections 10 and bus bars 11 respectively interconnected to each of the interdigital electrode sections 10, which are located on a piezoelectric substrate, is characterized in that a nonconductive part 27 and a conductive part 28 are repetitively provided to the bus bars 11 at a prescribed pitch in a state that a center line C2 extended in the longitudinal direction of the conductor part 28 closest to an electrode finger 10a in the bus bars 11 is shifted by a prescribed amount along a propagation direction A of a surface acoustic wave with respect to a center line C1 extended in the longitudinal direction of the electrode finger 10a in the interdigital electrode sections 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
