PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging element and a print paper package using the same, which easily eliminates paper powder or the like, which is generated during a period between manufacture of print paper and supply of unpacked print paper to a printer, and prevents the effect of the paper powder on the printer or on a printing operation itself.;SOLUTION: The packaging element 2 has a base material which is made into a shape that covers a cut face 1a of the rolled print paper 1. The base material has an adhesive layer 2b on one surface, and the adhesive layer 2b is glued to the cut face 1a of the print paper 1.
