PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new heme oxygenase-1-inducing substance free from NO release action which was one of problems of present HO-1-inducing substance and having long duration and to provide a method for producing the culture medium, a method for producing a preserving solution for organs for transportation and a method for producing an experimental animal by using the heme oxygenase-1-inducing substance.;SOLUTION: The heme oxygenase-1-inducing agent comprises one or more kinds of a polyamine derivative, its hydrochloride and the other pharmaceutically acceptable salt as active ingredients. As the polyamine derivative, e.g. spermine or spermidine can be used. The method for producing the preserving solution for organs for transplantation comprises adding the heme oxygenase-1-inducing substance to the preserving solution for organs for transportation. The method for producing the experimental animals comprises administering the heme oxygenase-1-inducing agent to the experimental animal so as to induce a state highly developing the heme oxygenase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
