DEFORMATION PREVENTION DEVICE FOR PENSTOCK, AND EMBEDDING METHOD FOR PENSTOCK

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation prevention device for a penstock and an embedding method for the penstock preventing deformation/buckling of the penstock when a large concrete placing pressure acts on a large sized and thin walled penstock. PSOLUTION: In the deformation prevention device 10 for the penstock, jacks 30, 30', a transmission means for placing pressure, are arranged with a specified distance at the outer periphery of an annular support member 20. A first support part 30a of the jack 30 abuts on the inner wall 1iw of the penstock 1 and a second support part 30b of the jack 30 abuts on the outer periphery plane part 20op of the annular support member 20. When concrete is placed, by extending the cylinder 30s of the jack 30 or the like, the penstock 1 is supported from the inner wall 1iw through the jack 30 by the annular support member 20.
