PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal reversible recording medium or the like which has a favorable coloring density, and also, is excellent in high-speed erasability, and in addition, shows the favorable high-speed erasability in a wide environmental range from a normal temperature-normal humidity to a low temperature-low humidity, and can perform a rewriting recording of a high practicality.;SOLUTION: This reversible heat-sensitive recording medium has at least a support, and a heat-sensitive layer on the support, of which the tone reversibly changes depending on a temperature. The heat-sensitive layer contains a polyalkylene oxide compound having a substituent group other than a hydroxyl group on both ends. A configuration that the substituent group other than the hydroxyl group is at least one of an ether group, an ester group and a urethane group, a configuration that the polyalkylene oxide compound is a polyethylene oxide compound, and also, a configuration that the number average molecular weight of the polyalkylene oxide compound is 2,000 to 6,000,000 are preferable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
