LOCAL WEATHER FORECASTING SYSTEM AND LOCAL WEATHER FORECASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local weather forecasting system and a local weather forecasting method which can be constructed without concentrating data processing on one apparatus and inexpensively.;SOLUTION: A center server 100 is connected to a weather center 10 through a wide area network 400 and has functions of receiving wide area weather observation data α transmitted from the weather center 10 and distributing it to a server 200. The server 200 measures weather data in the area of it and is connected to a sensing instrument 300 having a function of transmitting the measurement results of the weather data as sensing data β through a home network 500. The server 200 has functions of receiving the sensing data β, receiving the wide area weather observation data α, extracting local weather observation data α in an area to which the installation site of the server 200 belongs from the wide area weather observation data α, and forecasting local weather in the area of the server 200 on the basis of the local weather observation data α and the sensing data β.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
