PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate TCP having a structure that has minimized a circuit pattern passing through a base film, a semiconductor chip mounted on the TCP, and a TCP-applied liquid crystal display device. PSOLUTION: Input pads are separately arranged on both sides opposing each other, a bypass pattern 125 is formed within a chip 140 in the form of a wire pattern, and input/output patterns 123 and 124 are linked to each other at the inside of the chip 140 by another wire pattern provided within the chip 140. In this way, if a gate TCP 120 and a liquid crystal display device 100 are designed by modifying the structure of a circuit pattern formed in the semiconductor chip 140 and the base film 121, it is possible not only to reduce the semiconductor chip 140 and the base film 121 in sizes compared to conventional sizes but also to reduce a manufacturing cost, and it becomes possible to make the TCP and the liquid crystal display device 100 compact if this is employed.
