PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a master optical disk and an information recording medium by strictly and exactly obtaining a formatter driving clock realizing a CAV driven CLV format by the calculation and forming an information track by the exposure using the above result.;SOLUTION: In this master optical disk exposing device, the exposure is carried out with the CAV driving operation by a rotation driving means such as a driving motor 8 for rotating a turntable T mounting a glass original disk 5 of the optical disk thereon, an encoder 7, a converging/exposing means such as an optical exposure system 2 for irradiating the information track with converging a light beam, a focus actuator 4, a horizontally forwarding means such as an air slider motor 10 for making a converging/irradiating means of the light beam to traverse in a plane parallel with the glass original disk 5, a motor driver 11, and a control of the rotation driving means and horizontally forwarding drive means. In the device, further, the formatter driving clock is strictly and exactly obtained by the calculation from a rotational angular velocity ω0 of turntable, a CLV driving start radius R0 and a track pitch P, then the information track of the CAV driven CLV format is formed on the glass original disk 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
