PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample keeping sheet and a sample keeping method having excellent print appearance and print durability of a printing surface, having no pollution on the printing surface, capable of performing easily a sampling work, and suitable for a traceability system.;SOLUTION: This sample storing sheet has a constitution wherein a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is formed on one surface of a sheet A1 mainly composed of polyolefin, and an exfoliation liner 4 is laminated on a sample holding region on the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2, and the end 3a of a sheet B3 is fixed on the residual region on the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface, and the sheet B3 covers on the exfoliation liner 4 in the openable/closable state by hinge operation centered at the fixed end 3a. In this sample storing method, the exfoliation liner 4 of the sample storing sheet is peeled to expose the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface, and the sample is held on the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface, and the sheet B3 covers on the sample, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface around the sample is laminated with the sheet B3, to thereby confine the sample.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
