PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for noninvasive brain activity measurement which is made to be precise by abstracting an error factor caused by a blood flow at the skin. PSOLUTION: In a noninvasive brain activity measurement system, near infrared rays are emitted from above the skin of the scalp to the brain and the reflection of it is received at a position different from the emitting position to obtain the change of the blood state of the brain from the detected change of optical intensity, this method obtains the blood flow at the skin of the scalp by using a Doppler blood flow meter, and subtracts a data component caused by the blood flow at the skin obtained by the Doppler blood flow meter from data component by the infrared rays for correcting. The temperature of the skin of the scalp is obtained by using a radiation thermometer. When the change of the temperature is larger than a prescribed threshold, the presence of the error factor caused by the change of the blood flow at the skin is designated to be an index, and a holder for keeping the posture of a patient to be constant by fixing at least the head is used to predetermine influence of a specific posture to a measured result.
