PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing sheet excellent in strength and brazing erosion resistance.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a brazing sheet comprises the steps of:preparing a core material with a composition comprising 0.1-2.5% Mn, 0.05-0.3% Zr, further, one or two kinds of 0.1-1.2% Si, 0.1-2.0% Mg, 0.05-1.2% Ni and the balance being Al and inevitable impurities; cladding one side surface of the core material with an Al-Zn based or an Al-Zn-Mg based sacrificial material; and cladding the other side surface of the core material with an intermediate material having a composition of 0.3-2.0% Fe and the balance Al and inevitable impurities and further with an Al-Si based brazing filler metal so that a cladded material is fabricated in order of the sacrificial material-the core material-the intermediate material-the brazing filler metal. After a soaking treatment at the temperature of 430-530°C, the cladded material is subjected to hot-rolling, intermediate annealing at least one time and then cold-rolling at a low rolling ratio of more than 5% but less than 15% during the steps from the last intermediate annealing to the final plate thickness rolling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
