PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To renature a denatured protein solubilized by a protein solubilizing agent into a functional protein with three-dimensional structure in high yield.;SOLUTION: The denatured protein denatured by the protein stabilizing agent is renatured by adding the denatured protein to an amine-based buffer solution containing an oxidized glutathione and/or a reduced glutathione and thermally insulated after heating followed by leaving the system at rest at room temperature for a specified time or cooling it. In this case, the temperature at the thermal insulation is preferably 70-98°C, and even if the specified time is 0-10 min, a sufficient effect results.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
