PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Moromi vinegar drink rich in amino acids and minerals beneficial to human health, rich in cool refreshing feeling and tastiness, not only enabling Moromi liquid to be favorably taken but also enabling calcium absorption efficiency to be improved.;SOLUTION: The Moromi vinegar drink is obtained by the following procedure: Using barley, koji mold and yeast as raw materials, Shochu (Japanese distilled liquor) 1 is obtained in its production step (S1). Shochu lees are squeezed to separate a Moromi liquid 2, which is used as the main material for the objective Moromi vinegar drink (S2). Subsequently, fresh water 3 is added to the Moromi liquid 2 to dilute it followed by boiling (S3). The liquid after boiled is filtered by an ordinary method using a filter cloth or the like to remove solid residues (S4). By the filtering step, Moromi water 4 is obtained. Subsequently, granulated sugar 5 as a sweetener, rice vinegar 6 and silicon bacterial water 7 are added to the Moromi water 4 followed by mixing them together (S5) and then carrying out heat sterilization (S6).
