PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing an -aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative from an -amino protected form of lysine by using action of enzyme or microorganism, and an enzymatic or microbial method for producing an -aminoadipic acid derivative from lysine having -amino protected derivative or the -aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative.;SOLUTION: The -aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative is produced by using oxidase originating from Rhodococcus or a microorganism (preferably, Rhodococcus) producing the amine oxidase, to transform an aminomethyl group of -amino protected form of lysine to an aldehyde group. The -aminoadipic acid derivative is produced by using dehydrogenase or a microorganism (preferably, Rhodococcus) producing the dehydrogenase to transform an aldehyde group of the -aminoadipic acid semialdehyde derivative to a carboxy group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
