PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems; in a conventional artificial seed seedling production of eel grass, seeds of eel grass are preserved by controlling water temperature at 4-8°C to pass through the summer and sowed in a seed bed in the fall season, in around November, when water temperature reaches about 15°C, germinated and grown, but by the method, the transplanted seedlings are small, made to flow out by tidal currents and waves, rate of growth is low, cost performance of the seed-seedling production method is low and growing is difficult.;SOLUTION: An oversummer process of eel grass seeds starting from August is suspended by judging that the low rate of growth and the low cost performance of the artificial seed seedling production of eel grass are caused by small eel grass seedlings and low activity of them, and an intermediate growth control is carried out by maintaining water temperature at 15°C starting from August and a large scale healthy seedling growth control is carried out starting from November.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
