PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope management system which can simply determine whether a wire rope has come to the end of the life.;SOLUTION: The wire rope management system is provided with a crane control device 500 for controlling the crane using wire ropes, electric telecommunication lines 520, and a lifetime determining device 510 which computes the lifetime of a wire rope by using the inputted extension rate data and remaining strength data of the wire rope, determines whether the wire rope currently used on the basis of the computed lifetime has reached the end of its life, or computes the remaining lifetime of the wire rope currently used on the basis of the computed lifetime.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
