STRESS RELIEF PRESSING DEVICE AND STRESS RELIEF METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stress relief pressing device which can carry out stress relief work to correct the heat treatment stress generated in castings having intricate shapes varying with different places while stably supporting the castings at ordinary temperature, and a tress relief method.;SOLUTION: The stress relief pressing device 1 has an upper die 10 equipped with a central pressing section 11 and end pressing sections 12, and a lower die 20 equipped with two bearing sections 21 and 22. The castings 2 which are to be subjecting stress relief by the stress relief pressing device 1 vary in thicknesses by places and heat treatment twists are generated in portions 2A and 2B at both ends. The approximately central position is pressed toward the lower die 20 by the central pressing section 11 and the portions 2A and 1B at both ends are pressed by the end pressing sections 12 toward the bearing sections 21 and 22, thus the tress relief method is carried out.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
