PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste management apparatus, a waste management method, and a waste management control program capable of efficiently sorting objects like documents, and continuously preserving even bound objects, without releasing binding.;SOLUTION: Information concerning a preserving period or restriction for disclosing range of the object is obtained from information outputted on a cover sheet of the object. To discard or not the object is determined based on if the preserving period of the object has passed or not. To cut or not the object is determined based on information on restriction of disclosing range.
