PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing an aromatic component of an object in a comparatively short period of time, and to manufacture perfume of the object by use of the method.;SOLUTION: Fragrance substance of the object is smelled, and is analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) to qualitatively analyze the volatile component in the fragrance substance. A flavor dilution (FD) factor (Fn) of each the volatile component is calculated by aroma extract dilution analysis, and is multiplied by a characteristic threshold value (Tn) of each the volatile component to find an FD value (Fn×Tn) of each the volatile component.
