SHOOTING DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM AND ITS SHOOTING DECISION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize quick processing by automating decision of a commander to shorten the time from fetching target information to fire exertion.;SOLUTION: Basic thinking processes of a commander are modeled in respective processing of target information, friendly forces information, and environment information. In a first stage S1, "target value" is decided by a target information processing model. In a second stage S2, "the target value", and "target information elements" if needed are added to decide "mission value" by the friendly forces information processing model. In a third stage S3, "the mission value", and "our information elements" if needed are added to decide "environment information" by an environment information processing model. In a final stage S4, "shooting decision value" is decided from "the target value", "the mission value", and "the environment value" decided in each model by a shooting command model. When "the shooting decision value" satisfies the commander control standard, the shooting mission is automatically created and transmitted to an appropriate troop unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
