PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for removing the middle gut gland of scallop, which actualizes automatic treatment with which only middle gut gland parts are accurately and efficiently removed from a large amount of scallops having individual difference, an apparatus for automatically removing middle gut glands using the same and a method for removing the middle gut gland of scaloop by them.;SOLUTION: The machine 1 for removing the middle gut gland of scallop is obtained by combining a pair of central core claws 5 and 5 for making a middle gut gland part S2 into a held state with a pair of auxiliary claws 6 and 6 mainly nipping a mantle S3 part at a part closer to a scallop S1 side rather than to the central core claws and a pair of pressing claws 3 and 3 for keeping the scallop S1 itself in a stationary state at a part closer to the scallop S1 than to the auxiliary claws.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
