PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar antenna lifting device for a research robot in a tube capable of lifting an antenna always at a predetermined upper position of a tube regardless of irregularities inside tube, and also capable of adjusting the position of a camera and the position of the antenna easily depending on the size of the tube wherein the research robot is equipped with the camera with a lens and the radar antenna on a running body running back and forth in the tube. PSOLUTION: The research robot equipped with the radar antenna lifting device comprises a lifting device for lifting the camera and the radar antenna integrally and an antenna support arm for lifting only the radar antenna, a biasing member for biasing the radar antenna toward lifting direction, and a lift end position detection means for detecting the lift position of the radar antenna.
