PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer ink sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet capable of using rough papers such as high quality papers or the like as a body to be transferred without causing a problem in carrying properties and excellent in a light resistance of a thermal transfer image forming article, and to provide a thermal transfer image forming method and a thermal transfer image forming article.;SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet having an image receiving layer on a support is characterized in that the sheet contains a titanium coupling agent in the outermost layer.
