PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the shipment of a biological tissue-supplying material sufficiently having an activity by a simple measurement just at a time when the shipment of the biological tissue-supplying material is done.;SOLUTION: This method for examining the biological tissue-supplying material comprises (S1) calculating the decrease rate of the quantity of oxygen dissolved in a culture medium on a difference between the quantities of fluorescent light emitted from an oxygen-sensitive fluorescent compound and then (S2) determining the differentiation stage of cells on the calculated oxygen quantity-reducing speed. The quantities of the fluorescent light emitted from the oxygen-sensitive fluorescent compound are obtained by disposing the oxygen-sensitive fluorescent compound on the inside of a culture container in a process for culturing the biological tissue-supplying material in a culture medium stored in the culture container and then measuring the fluorescent light quantities at a unit time interval.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
